Do not buy anything from Mustek!!! When the product gives you problems, the companies phone number is long distance and know matter what option you pick, you will get the same individual (apparently the only individual who works there) and he will tell you that policy is that the warranty no longer covers the product. He will not allow you to speak with a supervisor and you will be stuck with a product that does not work. They only care about selling the product, not making sure it works and Walmart even says they are nolonger carrying there products!

Camera is not bad for the money, first thing that that you will notice is operating instructions leave alot to be desired. That being said it seems to be a decent camera for the price with amazing battery life.I currently have a 8 gig sd card in mine which allows me to take over 2 hours worth of video with sound. Another big plus is the fact that it easily fits in your pocket and can be used as a web cam with built in mic.

My first all-digital video camera and I wanted to ease into it. Very simple and I had it mostly figured out within minutes. However, I couldn't figure out the zoom right away but it appeared to "come with zoom". Eventually disovered it, but it's ackward to use and get grainy fast. There were other, even cheaper digital video cameras from Colby that I ended up buying for work and I'm have tempted to swap. This one is cheap feeling, really no bells and whistles but for playing around capturing a few moments with the kids here and there, it'll probably be okay until it breaks.

We bought this camera for my son for his 10th birthday. For the price, my expectations were quite low, but I figured if he was able to get some play time out of it and learn a few things about cameras it would be worth it. I've been impressed. As long as you don't judge it outside of it's class, it's a surprisingly good camera. The first thing I noticed is how good the image looks, a combination of decent sensor and good display. When my brother-in-law saw the camera, he seriously considered it as a gift for his wife.
The biggest down-side of this camera by far is the lack of any optical zoom. If you can live with that limitation, I'd say the image quality is definitely good enough even for capturing important memories and other things you might want a camcorder for. The camera is surprisingly lightweight and comfortable to hold, but with no image stabilization and the light weight, video can be a bit shaky if you aren't careful.
This camera has three modes: still image, video, and audio. The audo recording was a pleasant surprise because my son loves to record audio such as game music from the XBox, or himself playing the piano.
Kudos Mustek for a good job with an underserved niche.
